Biography
Hossein Rabiee was a well-known shopkeeper in Qom who gained recognition for displaying a water cooler outside his business labeled 'In memory of Khodanoor,' an act of protest that led to repeated summons and harassment by authorities. On January 2, 2026, he was killed during revolutionary protests when a grenade explosion severely mangled his chest and right hand. Before passing, he managed to ask a bystander to contact his family, and his father eventually located his body several streets away from where the incident occurred.
حسین ربیعی صاحب یک مغازه لوازم یدکی در چهارراه غفاری قم بود که به دلیل گذاشتن کلمن آب به یاد خدانور لجهای، بارها مورد احضار و آزار نهادهای امنیتی قرار گرفته بود. او در ۱۲ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات قم بر اثر انفجار نارنجک که منجر به متلاشی شدن قفسه سینه و قطع دستش شد، جان باخت. او در لحظات پایانی از کسی خواسته بود به خانوادهاش اطلاع دهد و در نهایت پیکر او توسط پدرش چند خیابان دورتر از محل واقعه پیدا شد.
